Sri Sumedha Cocamide Di ethanolamine also known as cocamide di ethanolamine, is a di ethanolamide created by combining the fatty acids in coconut oil with di ethanolamine. Diethanolamine is a common additive in cosmetics, used as a foaming agent or emulsifier. This amber-colored liquid is often combined with anionic surfactants to increase foaming capabilities in rinse-off items or stabilize surfactant foam. The combination of these two ingredients can create a thicker, more stable foam with an increased cleaning power. It can also raise the viscosity of aqueous solutions and is soluble in oil.
